But I'm going down there for the School Wars Conference and let me tell you what that is and why I'm going and why it's worth, worth it to you to help me and it's worth it for the vision of Worldwide Awakening Ministries and what we are doing to go. But it's put on by the Fight Laugh Feast guys. I went to their conference last year as well, but it was a different. They have a different theme every year. And when they said the one this year was going to be about school wars, about education, educating youth, as in before college, I usually am working with college age in India, wherever I am, I'm usually working with college age, student age. Right. It's kind of where my passion has been. And these guys are running a conference and it's more about regular level education, how to take that back.
And they have a take it back from the devil mentality. So I felt I wasn't going to go. I felt that's not my thing. I'm more like college students. Right. But I feel like the Holy Spirit stirred me and called my attention and said, you need to get ready. And I'm not 100% sure exactly what I'm getting ready for other than I feel like the Holy Spirit has led me this way. So I hope that's something you can track with.
I like to know exactly why I'm doing what I'm doing. In this case, it's mostly an obedience thing and a sense of what God is doing. So I'm going to go down there and spend several days soaking in a bunch of people giving wisdom about what we're going to do about the next generations, Gen Z and Gen Alpha, if you know these phrases. Or wait, we're past the millennials now. Now, I decided to go last year and I registered last year for this conference. I did not know the historic events that were going to happen in the last weeks. I did not know about what was going to happen to Charlie Kirk and the move of God, that was going to happen, a lot of it targeting young people. He also targeted college age.
But they have a turning point. USA has like high school units all over the country and they're multiplying like crazy. I believe we're in an epic time where God is doing something. We have an opportunity to invest in the next generation. And I feel like there's some key preparation for the kind of things that I do, which hopefully you remember what that is. I mostly talk for a living. I talk to college age students about Christian worldview, all of life, Christianity. The vision of Worldwide Awakening Ministries is revival and reformation.
We have a 500 year mentality here. It's not about just having a momentary emotional revival. We're trying to sow seeds that will preserve the good things that you and I have experienced in our lives for future generations. We have lived a amazing life compared to most people in history. Those of us who live in the United States or even Europe, a lot of places, the life we have lived is amazing. And the foundations of that life have been attacked by the enemy for a long time now. You've lived through it with me. You know it's going on too.
The key to changing that is we have to prepare the heroes of the next generation. I think of how many people said the millennials would come to nothing. How much did you hear that? They're all lazy, they don't know how to work. They said the same thing about my generation, the Xers. Well, let me tell you something. Charlie Kirk is a millennial. Erica Kirk is a millennial. The leaders surrounding them are millennials.
The first, I believe. You know, if you disagree, you can still be my friend, but. Christian martyr, A prominent Christian martyr. A martyr for the cause of the kingdom. Not perfect, of course. A millennial. And that guy could work. That guy was a workhorse.
The stuff he did, the people he connected with. We have to prepare a generation of. Of heroes. So my vision always has been revival in America, missions to the unreached reformation for the world. If you have one of my old flyers, that's what it said. So you've mostly heard about India, right? But of late, God has opened more opportunities here in the United States. So I want to prepare myself for what I'm supposed to be doing with the next generations. Even past the college age.
I want to do this. I desire to do this. And I believe God has led me. I need your help. I'm still tweaking my budget because a lot of times things get provided in Alternative ways. But my. My budget is actually about three grand to pull this off, and that's renting a car, gas, food, hotels. The hotels are just really expensive at the conference center in Nashville.
Couldn't find a cheap one that was anywhere nearby. Well, I did find one of the cheapest ones that was not a dump. And it was still a lot more than I'm used to paying. But, so three grand and that's everything. Fee of the conference, all my costs, even for sending out some postcards and some other things. I need to raise it. I need to raise it fast. I know God can do it.
Would you pray about being apart? 30 people with 100 bucks would cover it, right? Well, let me tell you what usually happens is usually there's a bunch of people that give 100 bucks, some people that give 300, some people to give 500, and there's usually either one or two people that pick up a big bulk of it. And it's not always the same people. I know I say that every time I do a fundraiser, but I'm just amazed by God. And sometimes it is repeats. You know, people come in again. Some of our strongest partners who believe in what we're doing have already made sacrificial gifts this year. So if you hear this and you feel in your spirit, if you don't, I'm okay. You don't, you know, you don't owe me anything.
